For example, you may find that smaller cities or northern communities have a greater demand for skilled labour. Larger cities such as Calgary, Toronto, or Vancouver will likely have jobs in your field, but the job market may be more competitive. In addition, smaller cities may offer other benefits such as:

This is an important step for several reasons. The recruiter will likely ask you what you know about the company.  So with proper research, you can prepare your answer, show interest in the company, and show your knowledge about:
